At Chicken on the Run, we’re proud to offer convenient, reliable, and temperature-controlled delivery of our fresh and frozen poultry, meats, seafood, and prepared meals throughout Barrie and across Southern and Central Ontario.

We take every precaution to ensure your order arrives on time and in perfect condition. Please review the following details about how we ship and deliver our products.

1. Local Delivery (Barrie Area)

We personally deliver orders within Barrie, Ontario and select nearby communities.
Local deliveries are handled directly by our Chicken on the Run team using refrigerated transport to maintain product freshness and safety.

You’ll receive an email or text confirmation once your order has been scheduled for delivery.

If you’re not home at the time of delivery, please ensure there is a safe, shaded, and temperature-appropriate location for your order to be left. We are not responsible for products left unattended after delivery.

2. Regional Delivery (Southern & Central Ontario)

For customers outside our local delivery zone, Chicken on the Run partners with ERB Transport Group — a trusted refrigerated logistics provider specializing in temperature-controlled food deliveries across Ontario.

ERB-Serviced Delivery Area Includes (but is not limited to):
Barrie, Orillia, Midland, Collingwood, Muskoka, Newmarket, Aurora, Vaughan, Toronto, Mississauga, Guelph, Kitchener-Waterloo, Hamilton, Peterborough, and other surrounding regions.

Key Details:
All shipments are transported in refrigerated vehicles to preserve product quality and safety. Delivery timelines typically range from 1 – 3 business days depending on location and scheduling.

Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on delivery area and order size.
Customers will be notified when their order is dispatched and provided with an estimated delivery date.

3. Pickup Orders

You may also pick up your order directly from our store:

Pickup orders will be ready during regular business hours. Please wait for your ready-for-pickup confirmation email before arriving.

4. Product Handling & Quality Assurance

All fresh and frozen items are handled and packaged under strict food safety protocols. Products are maintained at safe temperatures throughout storage, handling, and transport in accordance with Ontario food safety regulations.

Once delivered, it is the customer’s responsibility to refrigerate or freeze items promptly. We cannot replace products that spoil due to improper storage after delivery.

5. Delivery Issues or Delays

If your order is delayed, incomplete, or arrives in unsatisfactory condition, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery.

We will work with you to resolve the issue promptly, which may include a replacement, store credit, or refund in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy.
